Whenever I take her to playgroups, I sometimes feel like I could be the mother of the other mothers! <BR/><BR/>But as you said, I do appreciate life with my daughter more than I would have 20 - or even 10 - years ago. I was ready to "retire" from teaching, and I don't feel that I've given anything up careerwise by being a stay-at-home mom.
