About Wordless Wednesday.

Elizabeth is a genealogy and family history researcher, writer, and consultant. Adores good grammar and spelling, and believes the Oxford Comma is just misunderstood. Thrives on large quantities of coffee. One daughter, two rescued hounds, and a plethora of missing ancestors keep her on her toes.

  1. What did your daughter think of the guest?

    Sorry, forgot this is wordless.

  2. Good question! I don’t actually think she saw it. At first, I thought it was a bird, and when I told my husband there was a BAT on the screen, he thought I’d had a little too much wine. Wine or no wine, it was a bat, nonetheless.

I tried to get my daughter to look at it – without scaring it away – but she was engrossed in her peas.

Apparently, there are quite a lot of bats flying around our town at night. Ours was a cute little guy, but I’d still rather not encounter him on the other side of the window.
